About the Role In this senior clinical leadership role, you will provide direct clinical coordination and expertise, ensuring a safe and effective practice environment while supporting the management of patient and workflow throughout the department. You will coordinate and lead a collaborative transdisciplinary team to enhance patient-centred care, provide leadership in complex clinical situations, support patient flow, and act as deputy to the Clinical Nurse Manager when required. For more information on living and working in Gisborne click here More information about our Region see here About you Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC NZQA Postgraduate Diploma (or equivalent) and working towards a Master's qualification. PDRP Proficient level and working towards Expert or Designated Senior Nurse level. A minimum of 3 to 5 years' recent clinical experience with leadership responsibilities, including shift leadership or coordination. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams and health sectors. A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and staff development Desirable: Specialty knowledge and experience within an Emergency Department setting Leadership qualification.
