We are looking for a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join us on our journey as part of a major uplift in medical oncology treatment services across Aotearoa!

Background
Over the past year, the New Zealand Government has increased the medicines budget by more than $600 million over four years.
This funding will pay for 33 new cancer medicines and 33 new noncancer medicines.
Health NZ has also received extra funding to make sure it has the staff and resources needed to provide these medicines, including in community and rural areas.
This means we are now growing a new service at Waitematā as part of Regional Oncology.
About the role
We are therefore pleased to offer Patient Care Assistant (PCA) opportunities in Medical Oncology delivering high-quality care to patients across Waitematā.
These positions willbe based primarily at North Shore Hospital.
Ideally you will have:
Exceptional customer service skills, The ability to multi task A willingness to learn Have a 'can do' attitude Preferred experience in a Health Care setting as a PCA, HCA or Clerical related Health field with customer service will be advantageous, along with excellent Computer skills and a knowledge of PiMS or similar programme.
