We're seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic inpatient Allied Health team at Dunedin Hospital.

About the role
In this varied and rewarding position, you will:
* Be part of a high-performing, interdisciplinary team delivering patient-centred care
* Complete occupational performance assessments and interventions across a wide range of acute inpatient services
* Enjoy variety through occasional support across other inpatient areas
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
* Participate in a weekend on-call roster
You'll be supported with:
* Regular clinical supervision and team in-services

About you
You're an enthusiastic, adaptable clinician who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and enjoys working collaboratively.
You will bring:
* At least 3 years' clinical experience
* Experience in vascular and amputee care management (preferred), or a willingness to develop skills in this area
* Familiarity with wheeled mobility, seating, and positioning assessment is an advantage, or an interest in learning in this area
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
* The ability to prioritise and manage a busy caseload
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
You will also be required to:
* Support and mentor students, junior staff, and Allied Health Assistants
* Work confidently both autonomously and as part of a team
* Be flexible and responsive in a changing healthcare environment

Salary range
This role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 3 - ($90,843) p.a. - Step 7 ($110,290) p.a. pro rata of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
