You'll be responsible for opening doors, winning new business, and driving revenue growth across New Zealand for a well-established organisation with a strong product offering and national footprint.

THE ROLE As the National BDM, you will take ownership of new business acquisition across NZ , targeting commercial and industrial customers.
This is a high-autonomy role where you will manage your own pipeline, develop market strategy, and drive sales activity from prospecting through to close.
You'll be selling large-ticket equipment / capital solutions , engaging with decision-makers and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Drive new business development across a national territory ? Identify, target, and win new customers across industrial/commercial sectors ? Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting through to closing deals ? Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities ? Present solutions and proposals for capital equipment / high-value sales ? Work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams for delivery ? Travel as required across NZ to meet clients and grow relationships WHAT'S ON OFFER ? $110K Base + Super ? Company Vehicle ? Uncapped commission structure (realistic $80K+ earnings) ? Established product offering with strong market demand ABOUT YOU ✔️ Proven experience in Business Development / Sales (hunter role) ✔️ Track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets ✔️ Experience selling high-value capital equipment (e.g. machinery, trucks, plant, CNC, Earthmoving, etc.) ✔️ Strong commercial acumen and ability to close complex deals ✔️ Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working autonomously ✔️ Confident communicator who can engage with decision-makers ✔️ Based in or willing to work from Auckland (with travel across NZ) ?
