Fitter/Welder

Horne Engineering Co Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter/Welder to join our team in Morrinsville, Waikato.
This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing operations.
As a hands on Fitter/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, installation and maintenance work in both our workshop and on-site.
You'll be working with a variety of materials and projects.
What you'll be doing
Hold a relevant trade qualification or have proven industry experience
Be experienced in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding (ASME certification is an advantage but not essential)
Have experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
Be confident in fabrication, maintenance, and on-site repair work
Be able to read and interpret drawings and work from samples
Be reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently
Be available for overtime when required
Hold a current NZ driver's licence
Be currently residing in New Zealand with the right to work
