This casual opportunity offers flexibility while working within New Zealands leading paediatric healthcare service, Starship Child Health.Based in central Auckland, Starship Child Health provides family-centred care to children and young people across New Zealand and the South Pacific.
As a major teaching centre and national centre of excellence in paediatrics, we are committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting ongoing professional development.This is a casual position working on an as-and-when-required basis with no guaranteed hours.
Preferred candidates will currently be working 0.8 FTE (32 hours) or less and able to commit to at least one shift per week.To be successful in this positionYou will have:A minimum of two years recent paediatric nursing experienceCurrent registration with the Nursing Council of New ZealandA current Annual Practising Certificate with no restrictions or conditionsStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsThe ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamA commitment to culturally safe practice and equitable health outcomesFlexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced clinical environmentsWorking at Health New ZealandAt Te Toka Tumai | Auckland Hospital we are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing culturally safe care.
