Community Programmes Coordinator - Mt Albert Community and Leisure Centre
The Mount Albert Community and Leisure Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Community Programmes Coordinator to join our amazing team.
Drive community participation and bring our spaces to life!
What you'll do
Increase hire room bookings and build strong community relationships
Coordinate and deliver basketball and gymnastics programmes
Plan and launch new activities based on community demand
Promote programmes and bookings (social, local marketing)
Roster and support programme staff
Monitor attendance, feedback, and performance
Ensure safe, high-quality delivery and great customer service
About you
Experience in recreation, programmes, events, or coordination
Strong organisation and communication skills
Proactive, community-focused, and hands-on
Confident working with children, families, and groups
Able to juggle multiple tasks and support staff
Being flexible, reliable and passionate
Experience is an advantage, but not essential - we'll provide training!
