Working closely with the Operations Manager, Network Works Manager and Supervisors, you will help ensure strong coordination across the business while maintaining a focus on contract outcomes, governance and continuous improvement.

Leading customer reporting, contract reviews and performance discussions.
Providing oversight of contract financial performance, forecasting and cost control.
Ensuring contract requirements are reflected across delivery programmes.
What we're looking for
Strong background in contracting or infrastructure (electrical ideal)
Experience managing contracts, programmes or portfolios of work
Proven experience leading PMs or similar professional teams
Good commercial awareness — understands what "good delivery" looks like
Able to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving
Why this role
Lead a team of Project Managers delivering critical infrastructure programmes
Influence how contracts are managed, measured and improved
You're working with a practical, down‐to‐earth team
Based in Cromwell, supporting Central Otago — relocation package available for the right candidate
The perks and benefits
We've got a solid benefits package and a team environment where people support each other and get on with the job.
You will have access to mentoring and leadership development through ElectroNet Coach, along with real opportunities to step up and grow your career over time.
We understand life doesn't stop when you leave the office or site — so there is flexibility where it makes sense, strong parental leave support, and practical wellbeing support through POWA and EAP when you need it.
There is also the basics done well — life and critical illness insurance, fuel and health discounts, and WorkRide.
On top of that, we recognise people for sticking with us, with long service rewards starting from two years.
It's a straightforward environment — we back our people, take ownership of what we deliver, and work together to get the right outcomes.
Next steps
If you're an experienced leader who understands contract performance, customer expectations and how to get the best out of people, we would like to hear from you.
