Fitter Welder Join a well-established South Auckland operation where your welding, fitting, and maintenance skills will be put to work on critical plant equipment and machinery.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fabrication, and mechanical fitting work in a busy industrial environment.

- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery
- Dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling conveyors and rotating equipment
- Precision fitting, turning, and machining components to required tolerances
- Performing welding and fabrication repairs using TIG, MIG, and Stick processes
- Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing repairs
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Following maintenance schedules and completing service documentation accurately
- Promoting and maintaining safe work practices on site
- Level 4 Trade Certificate in Engineering, Fitting & Turning, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Proven experience in welding, fitting, and turning
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
- Competency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
