Retail Assistant

This is a hands-on customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in great service, and is comfortable maintaining high hygiene standards while handling fresh food products.

Both full-time and part-time roles are available depending on your availability.

About the role:

You’ll be the face of the shop, helping customers, preparing and presenting products, weighing and counter sales while keeping the store looking clean and tidy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing warm, helpful customer service
• Handling sales and operating the till
• Preparing, weighing, and packaging fresh products
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Restocking displays and assisting with daily shop tasks

About you

• Friendly, positive attitude with good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working on your feet and using your hands
• Able to follow food hygiene and safety standards
• Previous food-handling experience is preferred
