About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a National Project Engineer to join our Group Engineering team and be critical in the development and execution of the national compliance capital program to deliver against Net Zero ****, Seismic compliance, EPS replacement & trade waste reduction.
This role will have a primary focus on Environmental & Seismic compliance.
Responsibilities
Design and implement roadmaps for SBTi (Science Based Target Initiatives) Net Zero ****, Seismic, EPS replacement, risk reduction & trade waste
Preparation of initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals.
Support the 10 manufacturing sites with BCPs (Business Continuity Plans) & develop internal compliance frameworks and reporting procedures
Prepare detailed project plans for brown and green field projects to cater low impact disruption to business operations
Note: Role is a 12‐month fixed‐term project.
You can be based in Auckland, Palmerston North or Christchurch.
There is expected travel to all 10 sites across NZ.
About You
In order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer with extensive experience in brown field Project Delivery preferably with a background in Civil, Environmental and Sustainability compliance.
An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficial
Experience in a FMCG Industry 4.0 site is advantageous
The ability to lead a team, with the capability to lead through change & complexity
