Our client is an industry-leading company committed to delivering exceptional services in the electrical and utilities fields. We are currently seeking trade assistants or those interested in the electrical industry to start up on a project located in Dunedin.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the installation of Modems in smart meter boxes on residential and commercial properties, upgrading the buildings' existing network from 2g to 4g. You will work independently completing and logging the installations allocated to you on a daily basis. This is project-based work and is estimated to run for 1 year or until all modem installations have been completed. We have multiple roles available nationwide on both north and south islands.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various metering equipment.
- Be able to work independently and self-motivated to complete a given work on time.
- Provide technical support and address any issues related to metering systems.
- Document and report on metering activities as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers' licence and vehicle
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- High attention to detail and comfortably using a smartphone
