About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across Health New Zealand.
You'll analyse data from a range of national, district and regional sources, develop reporting and visualisations, and provide trusted advice on quality, safety, risk and performance.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, lead high-profile analytical requests and contribute to better access, equity and health outcomes.

About the Team and Location
You'll join a collaborative team that delivers trusted analytics, reporting, and performance insights to leaders and stakeholders across the health system.
The team plays an important role in supporting strategic decision-making and providing transparent, evidence-based information to both internal and external audiences.

Working closely with clinical, operational, and corporate teams, you'll have the opportunity to influence decisions that strengthen the quality, safety, and effectiveness of healthcare services across the organisation.
About you
You'll be an experienced analytics professional with at least seven years' experience in data analysis, ideally within a large organisation or the health/government sector.
You'll bring strong skills in data analysis, visualisation, business intelligence and stakeholder engagement, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, SQL and Excel.
You'll be a clear communicator and collaborative problem-solver who can turn complex data into practical insights and advice.
A commitment to equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, along with a mindset of continuous improvement, will be highly valued.
You will bring:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Experience with Power BI, Qlik, SQL and Excel
