General Contracting (small site works) Operators Queenstown Your day-to-day: As an Equipment Operator in our General Contracting team, you'll be hands-on, preparing and shaping the land for a variety of projects on residential high-end properties. Site works would include earthworks, drainage and roading. This means you'll be a jack of all trades! We're looking for experienced operators of these machines: Excavator Operator (5tn) Excavator Operator (20tn) Wheelie Excavator Operator (20tn) What you'll need To hit the ground running, you'll generally need: Experience in the construction industry or something similar Able to work autonomously, be self-driven and self-motivated. Able to communicate effectively with clients and represent the company Read and understand plans Have experience with laser levels Be solutions based A WTR endorsement A Full Class 2 or Class 4 A flexible attitude and a strong work ethic A safety-first mindset To be a NZ Citizen, Resident, or hold a current Open NZ Work Visa Nice-to-haves (but not essential): Compaction knowledge & experience Experience driving trucks or other machinery Why you'll love working with us We know our team is our biggest asset, so we make sure our benefits package is strong: Great hourly rate – above the national average Performance-based incentives Health Insurance after 9 months (yes, it covers pre-existing conditions!)
