Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team including internal project employees, professional consultants and contractors;
- Participate in internal training, communication, planning and update meeting;
- Release (sign) GADs, BQs and statistical calculations, assembly and fabrication drawings before these documents leave the Engineering Department;
- Monitor progress and manage stakeholder expectations;
- Scopes engagements/projects;
- Assist employees in managing their project time and ensure the optimal scheduling or employee time;
- Perform additional duties and other tasks as may be assigned by the Project Director and the Management Team;
- May perform other duties as necessary or assigned;
- Monitors test cards requests and deliveries;
- Coordinate with the assistant on site ensuring that all permits required for deliveries are settled;
- Documentation / analysis of internal / external information flows and requirements in diverse operating areas;
- Management of associate project managers to enhance skill sets;
- Motivate employees to work efficiently and effectively to deliver results;
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
- Works with the support of the company’s HR and Service Delivery departments.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in project management;
- People management;
- Experience working in an agile framework;
- Can manage a big team and strong leadership skills;
- One (1) year of experience in managing project team;
- Cost Estimating Software;
- College graduate in the fields of Business with Computer related course or IT Management course;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Has a sense of product ownership;
- Customer service skills – can respond effectively to inquiries or complaints, can apply effective interpersonal skills;
- Sells client engagements;
- Possesses or working towards obtaining a Project Management Professional Certification;
- Extensive automotive experience;
- Possess at least 2 years experience practicing relevant skills;
- PMP preferable, not mandatory.
