Architect Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Can assemble a complete set of drawings and specifications to meet the design intent;
  • Capable of quickly coming up with design alternatives on design assignments;
  • Excellent relationships with clients, contractors, agencies and consultants;
  • Participate in development of the program and other pre-design efforts;
  • Evaluate and select building systems and materials;
  • Analyze site incorporating geotechnical, hydrological, environmental, social and economic conditions;
  • Develop building design in accordance with cost parameters;
  • Adheres to the values and behavior aligned to Stantec Core Values, Ethics & Code of Conduct;
  • Presenting the building design to stakeholders (client groups and project teams) during early project phases;
  • Ability to work independently and manage in a team environment;
  • Serves as a trainer and resource for more junior level staff;
  • Implement sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding environment;
  • Ensure that design intent is maintained through documentation and construction;
  • Understands QA processes and how to make needed corrections and/or revisions on production materials;
  • Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.

Requirements:

  • Full-Time position(s) available;
  • Space Planning;
  • Proficient or have knowledge in Design, Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Adobe Suite, Lumion, 3D Max;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an architecture related discipline;
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree of Architecture;
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent;
  • Communication and project management skills;
  • Willing to travel to Valenzuela and Quezon City;
  • 2 years directly related work experience required;
  • Proficiency in 3D rendering and modeling software such as 3DS Max, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up;
  • proficient in Sketch-Up, Vray and Autocadd;
  • Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Having a License is an advantage but fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
  • With experience in architectural and civil works for residential and/or property real estate;
  • Communication skills;
  • Business development.
