Associate – Forensic Planning Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Associate – Forensic Planning to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player;
- Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner;
- Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects;
- Providing accurate forensic claims advice and reporting to our clients;
- Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments;
- Undertaking forensic planning management services with limited supervision;
- Liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control;
- Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projects.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of FIDIC and P6 for drafting defence claims, rebuttals, extension of time, disruption and acceleration claims;
- Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external);
- BSc in civil engineering or equivalent;
- Experience using Primavera (P6), MPP and Microsoft Office;
- Middle East experience;
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute;
- A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible;
- Experience in legal proceedings (arbitration, adjudication, etc);
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
