Our company is looking for a Quality Control Manager for Apparel to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes;
  • Product inspection control to the required quality and brand aesthetic;
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis;
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements;
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work;
  • Maintain a strong external supplier relationship and internally ensure clear communication with internal design, merchandising, and finance teams;
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures;
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations;
  • Follow clear claims and reimbursements;
  • Approve the right products or reject defectives;
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards;
  • Devise and review specifications for products or processes;
  • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

Requirements:

  • Willing to be assigned in BGC, but flexible to travel locally and internationally;
  • A keen eye for details and results-driven;
  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards;
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies;
  • At least five years of experience in quality control and assurance for clothing and apparel;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, science, or related field;
  • Preferably fluent in Mandarin.
