Junior Digital Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior Digital Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team and internal and external developers to ensure aesthetics also are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards;
- Produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning;
- Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision;
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points for multiple brands;
- Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online marketing strategies into effective designs;
- Translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs;
- Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics.
Requirements:
- Able to create visual output that feels like a singular brand, but also able to easily create varied styles;
- Efficiently delivers output in a timely manner, if not streamlining processes;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and comfortable with actively surfacing ideas as well as challenges;
- Diligent in ensuring output is always of great quality (across design, copy, etc.);
- A cultural fit, but can actively bring something new to our culture that makes it even better;
- Familiar with some basic tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch or Figma.
