Our company is looking for a Commis to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks within a timely manner;
  • Contribute to Kitchen revenue through effective food cost control;
  • Provide support to the Kitchen brigade;
  • Meet all health and hygiene requirements;
  • Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards expected by Hilton;
  • Ensure food prepared is according to the set menu specifications (pictures or/and portions) thus maintaining high standards set by the Outlet Chef;
  • Wear personal protective equipment as provided and instructed;
  • Handle / use all provided resources, facility and tools in a safe manner;
  • Make sure to report immediately any hazardous conditions, near misses and injuries to the supervisor;
  • Adopt work practices that support EHS programs;
  • Must be involved in training and other environment, health and safety activities where required;
  • Ensure to use equipment in compliance with appropriate guidance without intentional interference or misuse;
  • Must not intentionally place at risk the health or safety of any person in the workplace;
  • Look for guidance for all new or modified work procedures;
  • To comply with all policies and procedures of EHS manual.

Requirements:

  • To maintain a high customer service focus by approaching your job with customers always in mind;
  • To maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support To colleagues in pursuit of the department goals;
  • To be flexible, responding quickly and positively To changing requirements;
  • Candidates must have at least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate;
  • The job requires Male applicants only;
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position.
