Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all the on boarding process is adhered to;
  • Manages labour disputes at the CCMA and Bargaining Council and represents the Organisation where required;
  • Consult and advise Management and staff on all labour matters and ensure timeous submission of IR reports;
  • Ensure that the HR team is able to deliver on all deliverables required;
  • All statutory SETA returns and claims;
  • Generate reports aligned with all key outputs for the position;
  • Handle sensitive issues and be a trusted advisor/support within a speciality ;

  • Monitor, evaluate and recommend necessary improvements on the company’s benefits programs to create more value to the employees;
  • Drive the execution of key HR processes like induction, performance management and the learning academy;
  • Consistently engage with high potentials/critical talent using formal and informal tools and forums;
  • Execute the full lifecycle recruitment activities for our Operational and Support teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience working for a multinational Manufacturing organisation;
  • In-depth knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSACT, Collective Agreements with Bargaining Councils and working in a unionized environment;
  • Relevant tertiary qualification;
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations;
  • Data-Driven Analytics;
  • Above average communication skills;
  • Must be fluent in English;
  • MS Office;
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation;
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs;
  • Conflict management;
