Our company is looking for a Officer: Customer Support to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on instructions given;
  • Involves staff in the organizing of work;
  • Understand and consistently apply the principles of risk management;
  • Assist with various projects and returns;
  • Handle customer complaints quickly and effectively;
  • Cross-sell the Bank’s products to customers;
  • Assist with record safekeeping;
  • Perform all general admin duties as directed by the Manager Customer Support/Team Leader as per laid down procedures (Filing, APS TRFRS etc);
  • Plan and schedule work ahead of time;
  • Responsible for the welcoming, hosting and general customer experience in the business banking suite;
  • Provide relief support where needed in the Business Banking Suite;
  • Manage cheque books, pin mailers and debit cards;
  • Responsible for all maintenance on customer accounts, including customer records, mandates, FICA etc.;
  • Assist clients with Forex requirements;
  • Identify problems and take steps to solve them.

Requirements:

  • FICA knowledge;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Matric;
  • Minimum 3 years banking experience;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Organizational;
  • Be a good Listener;
  • Problem solving and analysis;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices;
  • Track record of over-achieving quota;
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • With the following skills: Good communication, both verbal and written;
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters;
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
