Compile and record employee time and payroll data. May compute employees’ time worked, production, and commission. May compute and post wages and deductions, or prepare paychecks.

Our company is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and mange month end to end payroll process;
  • Calculation and payment of termination payments;
  • Assist with internal audit processes for payroll;
  • Leave administration;
  • Pension funds and general policy administration;
  • UIF administration;
  • Processing;
  • Administer time and attendance;
  • Compile and distribute comprehensive month end reports (costing, headcount, production bonus and overtime report) to business units;
  • Recommend changes or implement new processes around the payroll system to meet business unit requirements;
  • Report all system problems to the responsible ICT department and follow through to resolution;
  • Oversee payroll filing;
  • Provide direction to ES Clerks and business units of the implementation of new payroll forms and payroll processes;
  • Accurate capturing and processing of employee information (Activations);
  • Complete, verify and process benefits forms and documentation (provident fund, leave etc.).

Requirements:

  • Previous Human Resources administration background would be an advantage;
  • Good numeracy skills;
  • Implement and mange month end to end payroll process;
  • Minimum five (5) years’ working experience in Payroll;
  • Administer time and attendance;
  • Processing;
  • E-filing knowledge (submission of EMP201 and EMP501);
  • Must be amenable to work in Eastwood on a shifting schedule;
  • Accounting exposure will be an advantage;
  • 2 – 3 years ’ experience as a Payroll Administrator;
  • Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Minimum 5 years working exprience in payroll;
  • HR and Personnel Administration knowledge;
  • Excellent computer skills.
