Our company is looking for a Reservations Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business;
  • Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest’s expectation;
  • Identify sales leads, as appropriate;
  • Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads;
  • Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards;
  • Eagerness to learn and develop;
  • Complete pre-set task list and additional tasks as directed by the Reservations Manager / Assistant Reservations Manager;
  • Provide team coverage as and when needed.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding administration and organizational skills;
  • A passion for delivering great customer service;
  • A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills;
  • Be able to prioritize as this position has multiple projects going simultaneously;
  • Ability to read and comprehend English;
  • At least 2 year experience in a similar position or Front Office;
  • To be able to work efficiently and quickly in a fast paced environment;
  • Computer literate including relevant software and experience in using a PMS system – preferably Opera;
  • Work experience in a travel agency an advantage, but not a requirement;
  • Can effectively communicate in spoken and written English;
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Must be familiar with tourist destinations in the Philippines and Asia;
  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably graduates in Tourism Management, Tourism Hospitality (HRM) or its equivalent;
  • Intermediate computer proficiency specifically with Microsoft Excel;
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
