Maintenance Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationship and communication for all relevant departments in order to gain their cooperation in continual decreasing downtime;
- Responsible preparing and following up for all counter measures and troubleshooting activities and being well documented and being kept accordingly;
- Responsible to ensure completed mechanical works or tasks have been conducted effectively and efficiently in minimizing maintenance cost;
- Conduct on job training (OJT) regularly to continuously improving skill and knowledge of subordinates;
- Ensure ISO requirements including procedures and documents are being well maintained and being closely followed up;
- Responsible to plan, organize, supervise, and follow up mechanical maintenance operation routine and mechanical preventative maintenance tasks;
- Ensure all mechanical maintenance checklists and reports are being up dated, accurate and reliable;
- Ensure all mechanical equipment’s or tools are always being safeguarded in good order and condition;
- Provide technical advises to relevant departments for continuous improvement and strengthening preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least Bachelor’s / College Degree;
- Degree in Facilities management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- Familiar with maintenance operation and preventative maintenance;
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Chemical, manufacturing companies;
- Minimum Diploma or Degree holder with minimum 3-5 years working experience in Manufacturing/ Heavy Industry;
- Knowledgeable in Safety, Health and Environmental management;
- Able to work shifts;
- Proficient in English language in both written and spoken;
- People management experience;
- Analytical abilities and flexible to work late at times at machine breakdowns and meeting;
- Certificate of Competency on certain items, Confined Space (AESP – Association of Energy Services Professionals);
- Knowledge of PPM (Productive and Preventative Maintenance);
- Proactive and a team player;
- Minimum of 3 years working experience is required for this position;
- Minimum of 4 years working experience is required for this position.
