Creative Head Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Creative Head to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Train and guide subordinates into accomplished professionals;
- Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion;
- Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team;
- Directing and motivating teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectively;
- Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients’ needs as well as our own;
- Monitor the team results, efforts, and propose actions for the future;
- Collaborating with account executives to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements;
- Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development;
- Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Highly-motivated and can work with minimum supervision;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Outstanding leadership and organization skills;
- Creative and with demonstrated design skills;
- Familiarity with Macintosh Computers is an advantage;
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or equivalent;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset;
- Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc;
- Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities;
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
