Our company is looking for a boom truck operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures;
- Keep up on all reports and keep the trucks in good safe working order;
- Performs equipment safety and maintenance checks;
- Operates equipment to move, load, or unload material;
- Operates boom truck on roads.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications;
- Uses eye-hand-foot coordination;
- Travel required;
- A minimum of one year experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment;
- Moves or lifts heavy equipment and objects up to 50 pounds;
- Uses hands to handle and control materials, tools and vehicle controls;
- Uses repetitive motions;
- Uses close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception;
- Sits for long periods of time in a closed vehicle;
- Must have aT least PROF 1,2,3,8 driver license;
- Exposed to loud noise;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;
- Exposed to harsh weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather;
- Used to work at construction sites;
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
