Our company is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work on time;
  • A process flow and KPIs for performance tracking;
  • Work closely with users to ensure that the product meets the business needs;
  • Responsible for managing the Scrum;
  • Managing conflict and motivating teams;
  • Assist with internal and external communication improving transparency and radiating information;
  • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions;
  • Guide the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers;
  • Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment;
  • Increasing team efficiency;
  • Assist the Product Manager with monthly reporting;
  • Smartsheet to be the product calendar and tasks to be kept up to date at all times;
  • Facilitate retrospective sessions;
  • Assist with any ad hoc duties that may arise;
  • Provide weekly status reports to the Product Owner.

Requirements:

  • Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions;
  • At least 1-year experience on software testing or business analysis;
  • Must possess leadership skills and experience;
  • Certified Scrum Master;
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented;
  • Skillful negotiator and problem solver;
  • Ability to act as the liaison between users/clients and the project team;
  • People management;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage on-time, within budget delivery of complex projects in a stressful, fast-paced environment;
  • User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several on-going projects at various stages;
  • A minimum of two years of scrum master experience;
  • Grade 12 or equivalent certificate essential;
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives ceremonies;
  • PMP and Scrum Master Certifications are a plus.
