Job Description

As a Senior / Principal Process Engineer within our established national energy business, you will be responsible for supporting interesting multi-discipline projects from concept through to detailed design stages, across a variety of industries including future fuels and renewable energy projects, power generation, biogas and wastewater.

What will a day in this role look like?

Performing engineering calculations such as chemical reactions, heat transfer and hydraulic analysis for NZ and International projects.
Fluid and gas pipeline and pipework design and analysis, materials and equipment selection, hydraulic transient analysis
Production of drawings with support from our Digital/CAD team
Specification and construction contract document writing
Construction monitoring and site inspections

Qualifications

10+ years’ relevant professional experience in power generation, industrial, oil and gas, and/or wastewater
Ability to complete design detailing
Experience in software packages such as Fluid Flow, Bentley Hammer, Aspen HYSYS
Strong oral and written English communication skills; report, specification, and construction contract writing experience
Site experience/experience in projects being constructed and commissioned is an advantage
