The role:

As Senior Account Manager, your focus will be driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional value to our customers. You will be accountable for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring targets are consistently achieved. This role is pivotal in shaping our market presence and building strong partnerships within the property industry.

Day to day you will:

• Coach and support other Account Managers based in the South Island

• Support the Sales Director and GM Sales to develop and execute on a strategic roadmap, driving product adoption and revenue results

• Pipeline management and sales forecasting

• Managing and strengthening key relationships with key accounts

• Using a consultative selling approach leveraging rich data and insights

• Input and data integrity management of our CRM system (Salesforce)

• Attending industry events and conferences

• Some travel will be required from time to time, including travel to our Auckland head office based in Grafton

• Public speaking – we do a lot of presenting!

Your strengths and experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in sales, with solid business development and solution-based selling skills

• Proven leadership capability with the ability to motivate people, build a high performing team and contribute to ongoing growth and learning of people and self

• You thrive on delivering tangible results, displayed through your past performance and experience

• Proven ability in developing and executing on a strategic plan

• Passion for customer centricity

• Experience in putting custom solutions together for your customers

• Proven ability to deliver results through personal drive, tenacity and team involvement

• Engaging and exceptional verbal and written communication skills – you’re an expert when it comes to building relationships

• Excellent negotiation skills

• You attention to detail, with the ability to extract and analyse reporting, forecasts and sales targets

• The ability to adapt on the fly – we work in a fast paced and innovative industry where it is important to operate in a responsive and professional manner

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and CRM Management (Salesforce) skills

• Comfortable working within an autonomous working environment
