The Cloudy Bay story is one of adventure. After a single sip in 1983, David Hohnen was captivated by Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. In 1985 David and winemaker Kevin Judd launched Cloudy Bay with a vision for making New Zealand wines of uncompromising quality. It’s been that way ever since.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Reporting Analyst.

About the Senior Reporting Analyst role

As Senior Reporting Analyst you will assist the Financial Director in analyzing and forecasting business performance working closely with all key stakeholders in the Winery, HR, Marketing, Operations, IT, RCOE Singapore and MH Central Finance teams, and will have the opportunity to work on other various projects.

Some key responsibilities include

Manage the coordination of the forecasting processes submissions
Liaise with the Finance team to gather information and ensure deadlines are met
Prepare templates
Prepare OVH books and Estate Book during Forecasting period
Consolidate, review, upload and check forecast figures in the Essbase tool and Syrus platform
Forecast contributive cash flow in liaison with Finance team
Prepare and review of financial reports after each forecast (volume analysis, sales, standard costing financials, profit analysis, etc.)
Update and circulate validated figures at the end of each forecast phase
Responsible for GL postings relating to A&P and OVH expenses as part of Month End Closing process
Key point of contact with any queries on analytical coding of expenses

Requirements

Ideally, you will have

Eligibility to work in NZ long-term
Business school degree or university graduate in accounting
5+ years’ experience in reporting, business analysis and internal control role(s)
Excellent analytical and multi-tasking skills
Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Hyperion Essbase is a plus
Ability to build successful relationships with key stakeholders
A taste for improving processes and tools
Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
Strong communication skills
