Regional Sales Representative

Territory Management Sales position.

Developing sales of our client's services within the Canterbury region.
Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.
Establishes in consultation with management sales goals for the region.
Performs sales activities on major accounts, provides quotes, and negotiates sales prices in consultation with management.
Agrees specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all the company’s services.
Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
Collaborates with management and the sales team to develop strategies to improve market share for all services.
Being a point of contact on the dedicated sales line, when required, which will entail providing verbal & email proposals for clients.
Overseeing inquiries and online email system, actioning, quoting, follow up, and order information for Operations/Dispatch processing.
Maintaining quotes within MCS and sales opportunities within SAP software.
Maintaining the company’s existing clients and upselling additional services.
Contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Identifies services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Coordinates sales efforts with management, dispatch, and operations.
Identifies advantages and compares the company’s services against competitors.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy for the region.
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and service potential.
