Job Description

Role: Optical Assistant (Part Time Weekend cover + one week day if required)
Hourly rate: $23.15 minimum working hours will be 7~15 hours a week
Business partnership accredited as a “Great Place to Work”
Hours: Working between Friday, Saturday 9.00am to 5:30pm and Sunday 9.00am to 4.30pm
Area: Johnsonville Shopping Centre

What we need from you:

We are looking for individuals that are kind and caring in nature, who can become brand ambassadors for our expanding team.

You do not need experience for this role.

If you have a genuine kindness towards others, have great listening skills a natural flair for striking up a rapport with others, this could be a great career move for you.

We will provide you will all the training, induction, and on-going support you need to become confident.

About the Role
As first point of contact for all customers, our team members will:

Support our Optometrists with pre-testing
Offer our customers frame styling advice
Dispense glasses with various lens options
Build strong rapport and create a memorable customer journey

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal skills with strong attention to detail

Practical Abilities: Previous retail/customer service experience is required. Optical experience will be highly desired, however full optics training will be provided!
