They span manufacturing, distribution, and retail across steel, timber, and plastic products, and currently have around 800 staff across 30 sites nationwide.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support working in a close-knit team of 4 reporting to the IT Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Providing 1st and 2nd level support for internal users
Daily calls or tickets
Supporting a range of legacy systems
Supporting solely on-premise services (no cloud)
Setting up new users on desktops/laptop/mobile phones
Purchasing equipment
Users not able to login (Account lock outs or forgotten passwords)
Resolving printer issues
Installation of software (specific to the business/branch)
Onsite installation of computers, switches and other networked devices
Trouble shooting Remote Access issues
Troubleshooting network/router/connectivity issues
Various improvement projects as required

Your Profile

3+ years' experience in similar positions
Experience with ITIL best practices
Valid New Zealand Driver's License is a must
