Our client is a British Curriculum school located in Abu Dhabi. The school is part of a very well established group of schools that are looking to raise its standard. The has mainly an Arabic pool of students with about 30% expatriates. The teachers are mainly from the UK and some from Ireland where there is a strong focus on solid teaching and learning.

Requirement to Apply

Degree in Psychology/Special Needs
A teaching qualification would be beneficial
An M.Ed in Special Needs or equivalent
Ideally, 3+ years being a SENCO
Experience of the GCC is preferred
Western-trained
A high command of written and spoken English
Being able to speak Arabic is HIGHLY beneficial
Excellent references
A clean police record with no charges

The school is very well facilitated and has recently been refurbished to provide some excellent facilities to the students. The management is very experienced in working in the GCC and has made excellent progress to raise the standard of the school. They realise there is more work to be done hence the need for a strong SENCO to join the school.

Salary Package

Up to 15,000 AED per month TAX FREE

The post is for an IMMEDIATE start and so if you are available and located in the UAE, you will need to ensure your visa is cancelled before taking up the next role.

The school is graded as Accepted and is working fast towards a Good for the next inspection as the right leadership is in place, coupled with solid teachers with excellent pedagogy in place for students to raise their standards.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in Special Needs
**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
**Singles teachers or teaching couples with NO CHILDREN are preferred

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary up to 15000 AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
