Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The TamaAriki Ora Team Administrator (TA) supports the Tumu Whakarae, Pouwhakahaere Matua and operations Manager, providing administration and team support services to enable TamaAriki Ora (Starship Māori Health Team) to operate efficiently and effectively.

The TA oversees the daily activities of assigned functional areas prioritising, completing multiple activities, and resolving problems as they arise.
The role will directly administer back-office operations (diary, email, scheduling, recording, transcribing and ensure the operational integrity of Te Tari Māori.
The TA supports HR activity and financial administration tasks.
The TA supports the design, data collection, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on activities across SMH, administrating top-quality business cases and reports.
The role is also responsible for building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
The TA supports complex and varied work programmes across SMH as directed.

The primary focus of the role is to improve Te Tari Māori productivity by providing culturally appropriate business support. The role will enable Te Tari Māori to be supported in their engagements with iwi, hapū, whānau. This is a specialist position requiring the candidate to have appropriate cultural expertise, knowledge and mana as they engage our internal waharoa within Starship and our external waharoa in our communities.
