Responsibilities Include

Planning and ensuring delivery of support services for people with disabilities
Managing and developing a strong team of Support Workers
Building positive relationships with whānau including their involvement in the care of their loved ones
Planning and coordinating the work of your team to ensure the best service outcomes are achieved (including rostering and staff training)
Celebrating the achievements of the people we support
Implementing best practice strategies and managing health & safety requirements

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Preferably: Relevant tertiary qualification within a health or disability service discipline e.g. Occupational Therapy / Nursing / Social Work / Psychology.
Previous management/leadership experience within the Health and Disability sector.
Capability to train, coach and lead a team to achieve the best outcomes.
Relevant technical experience e.g. rostering, budgets, service planning and risk management
Demonstrated awareness, sensitivity and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi
Computer skills, including MS Office Suite, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
We provide 24/7 services all year round, and the ability to participate in the on-call roster is essential to the delivery of our services
A full NZ driver licence
