Our company is looking for a Night Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees end of day function in hotel and ensures accuracy of revenue reports;
- Most senior person at hotel from 10:30 pm to 07:30am;
- Actively promote room upgrades;
- Provides night audit reports as requested;
- Professional handling of guest enquiries;
- Ensures a friendly welcome and check-in and checkout in line with brand standards;
- Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required;
- Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards;
- Represent the Hotel Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel;
- Conduct Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks, and maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas;
- Compile adequate handover to Early staff / Duty Manager;
- Conduct annual and mid-year Appraisals with Team Members;
- Manage, record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise;
- Serve as a point of contact for regular and VIP Guests;
- Complete Night Audit duties.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Computer knowledge required. Experience with;
- Ability to main positive attitude when handling all situations;
- Natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service;
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Fluency in English both written and oral;
- Strong decision making skills and a positive Yes I Can service attitude;
- Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations;
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
- High level of IT proficiency;
- Accountable and resilient;
- Previous experience with Front Office Management Systems.
