Our company is looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain current documentation of Mechanical specifications, drawings, safety procedures and statutory inspection records;
  • Maintain the above within the SAP software system;
  • Undertakes special assignments as directed by Manager Reliability & Turnaround Flawless Lead;
  • Be the Site Focal Point for the AMS Reliability Centred Maintenance process;
  • Provides technical support to the Projects department on equipment selection, maintainability evaluations, design checks and vendor selection;
  • To drive Reliability Centred Maintenance review and maintain through RCM Living Program in his/her respective area;
  • Lead in driving Plant Reliability and Availability improvement in aligning with company Business Plan and Strategy;
  • Develops maintainability specifications for new equipment;
  • To develop and implement both the proactive and reactive maintenance needed to achieve and improve MTO (Mitigate Threat & Opportunities) KPIs;
  • Prepare Engineering and Maintenance Business Performance Report (BPR) on monthly basis for timely submission;
  • Advisory role for putting maintenance best practices into action and to track day to day operating threats/opportunities in the plant;
  • Prepare and update Reliability Visual Management Board.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience;
  • Recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Working towards GCC;
  • Professional Engineer registration (PR Eng) with ECSA preferred;
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
