Systems Analyst Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and ownership of technical and functional architecture of software in accordance with agreed standards;
  • Oversee the delivery of the team and align structure and business processes to organisational strategy operational needs;
  • Manage key client and stakeholder relations within ICT environment;
  • Perform maintenance on systems;
  • Perform system tests;
  • Investigate, research and propose new developments in technology that may be usefully applicable to the wider business to improve the current service.

Requirements:

  • Design and implement trade data integration solutions;
  • Bachelor’s degree holder of any course from an accredited university or college, preferably, IT-related course;
  • Ability to begin to lead small teams of developers;
  • Responsible for monitoring (Examples: RFC; Logs; Queues; Jobs; PI Channels; IDOCs; AIF; SolMan);
  • Experience with software development methodologies and practices (Agile, Scrum, etc.);
  • Perform source and destination system analyses;
  • Experience in requirement gathering from external stakeholders;
  • Compilation of support documentation upon completion of a specific implementation;
  • Process design, end-to-end testing and implementation;
  • Competent in a programming language, development tools, and database;
  • Real estate, tenancy and leasing, and property management, hospitality, supply chain, and other group applications experience is a strong plus;
  • Knowledge in the SDLC process;
  • Understand products/instruments on the relevant trade related systems from Front-Office to Back-Office;
  • Knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycles, its stages, major tasks and deliverables;
  • Nice to have skills: Cloud and other platforms (Sales Cloud/ SalesForce).
