Client Services Representative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Client Services Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely registration/ invoicing/ closing of import seafreight files, milestones and workflow for your portfolio;
- Providing customers with up to date information on shipments;
- Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with documentation and process;
- Building long term relationships with customers (internal & external) and regulatory bodies (this may include offsite customer visits).
Requirements:
- Must have a valid NZ drivers license and own transport;
- Ability to think outside the square and solve problems;
- A minimum of 2 years freight forwarding experience;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- A positive work ethic and a commitment to ups-killing;
- Sound technology literacy, specifically the Microsoft suite;
- Exposure to Customer Services & Import Seafreight Operations process within a freight forwarding environment.
