Learning and Development Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify performance and development gaps;
 - Collaborate with team members and other department representatives to drive cross-learning;
 - Oversee company policies;
 - Coach members of the team to ensure continuous development and improvement;
 - Ensure all Learning and Development resources are up to date and relevant;
 - Assist with training and trouble-shooting as necessary;
 - Prepare, monitor and manage the platform’s annual learning and development budget;
 - Offer re-certification and re-tooling for experienced employees;
 - Manage training policies, manuals and various assets/educational materials to support learning and development initiatives;
 - Ensure all learning initiatives are delivered within agreed service levels (against learning objectives, timelines and budgets);
 - Manages contractual relationships with external partners/vendors;
 - Champion enhancement of training and learning through identification, evaluation, adoption of effective L&D innovations;
 - Produce and analyze production reports;
 - Sets performance objectives; conducts performance reviews; and recommends pay actions.
 
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of experience in Human Resources;
 - People-oriented and relationship focused;
 - Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, preferrably in Management, Social Sciences, or Psychology;
 - Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education or Human Resource Management. Post-graduate degree preferred;
 - Must have significant experience in Learning and Development;
 - Excellent oral and written cumminication skills;
 - With at least 2 years experience in the related field;
 - Strategic thinking, innovative and agile;
 - Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource Development, or Social Sciences;
 - Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, power point);
 - At least 5 years solid experience in related field, role or discipline;
 - Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work;
 - Minimum 10 years of experience in people development and learning capacity;
 - Mastery level in MS Excel and Powerpoint;
 - Background in authoring tools (eg Captivate, Articulate) is preferred.
